Class 1 renewal with exemption
Hi guys,
I passed my EASA class 1 medical in France, initially unfit but got an exemption from the licensing authority in France. I've been renewing my medical class 1 in France with no problems so far. However, I will now be moving to Spain. If I do my EASA class 1 renewal in Spain will they take into consideration the exemption given by the french authorities or will I have to be exempted by the Spanish authorities?
The EASA docs don't really talk about my situation too much..
Thanks,
Dylan

Not 100% certain, but I am sure that under EASA rules you need to renew your medical with the authority that issued your licence. I know I hear many folks saying otherwise. But it may be easier for you to continue within the agreed exemption you currently have. I would suggest keeping your medical exposure to the minimum if at all possible.
