Initial Class 1 (jaw surgery)

Hi,

I am planning to start training within the next year or so and I am yet to get my initial class 1. However, I am also due to get optional jaw surgery (orthognathic surgery) in about a year and I am worried that it may disqualify me from receiving my class 1. I have tried looking around the forum and the CAA website but it says nothing about it. Does anyone know anything about this?

Thanks!
