Initial Class 1 advice

Hi all,

I have been told by the aero medical centre that I知 trying to book my new class 1 medical with, that I need to bring along a summary of my GP notes.

I had a bout of depression In the past that I took anti-depressants for, this has long since past and I知 clear of medication of about 2.5 years. All this was due to no direction In life, found myself in a rut and so it went on and on. Now I知 feeling great.

I read the attachment the aero medical sent me and under mental health it told me depression was an instant deferral. Is this normally the case and is the next step off to an approved shrink to access me?

is this normally done on the day or is it constant journeys back and forth to the centre? Also how
easy Is it to obtain a copy of my medical records?

Any advice members can can give me, as I feel a
little worried about the whole affair now!

Kind Regards
Adam

Yes, expect a deferral. How long and how many visits with a psyc varies.
