HCM condition: EASA and FAA
Does anyone have any experience or input with regards to the diagnosed condition of Hypertrophy Cardio Myopathy? ECG showed an abnormality...EASA requested an MRI and it showed HCM. C1 Suspended.
Funnily enough FAA had the same ECG but has not requested anythig...possibly based on previous different tests. C1 still valid.
Thoughts, ideas, experiences and expertise welcome.
Thanks.

I had problem on my ECG which was a possible HCM so I had to go and see a consultant. It wasn't that. I had a dilated Aortic Root instead. Open heart surgery just before Christmas and still waiting to get my medical back. But I was lucky and unlucky. Most apparently are nothing.

@ Qwikstop: I think the MRI report states thickness to be 8mm. Know what the rules for the FAA are?
