UK CAA Class 1 validity

Simple question but I can't find the answer.

Is an issued class one medical valid only for one calendar year after the issuing date? Or one year to the end of the the issuing month?

Thanks for any reply.

It is valid until the expiry date! Depending on how far in advance you have it revalidated you may get up to 365 days + 45 days.

An EASA Class 1 expires on the anniversary of a renewal examination, a U.K. Class 1 is valid to the end of the month.
