Best of luck and hope it goes well CD. If they insert a catheter in your groin the interesting part (was for me anyway when they were looking for blockages) was when a young nurse gave a close shave to the nether regions! Didn't seem to embarrass her one bit, but at least she didn't laugh.

Hello all,
on monday, I was in the hospital to undergo the ablation therapy. After they prepared my for the procedure, I was laying on the operating table with thousands of monitors beside, above, below and next to me. Very impressive! I hung on the ECG monitor for almost an hour without having any ectopic heart beats. They even gave an injection which let the heart beat faster / slower (I can't recall its name) in the hope that this will trigger some ectopics. In vain. My heart was beating perfectly. So they aborted. The doctors (which were, by the way, great!!) told me that it wouldn't make any sense to continue.
Interestingly, in the last few months and before my last 24 hour holter, I took dietary supplements with Potassium, B6 / B12 plus Magnesium Citrate (700mg / day). I wonder if one of these (especially the Mg Citrate) could have caused my ectopics to increase rather than to decrease? Doctor advised me to stop taking these supplements. I am a young man with a healthy diet and don't need to take these pills.
