Bates Method to Improve Eyesight

Just back from the opthalmologist where I discovered that my prescription has lessened by about 1-2 dioptres (significant %) in each eye -- might edit this to nail it down exactly ...

Anyways, my opthalmologist was very surprised that my eyesight tested much better than the prescription for my current glasses indicated.

Here's what I did over the last six months :

Bates Method for Dummies

1. Practise relaxing your eyes.
2. Blink a lot
3. Close your eyes lightly and relax them
4. Practising seeing things 'lightly' without straining
5. Have an eye chart on a nearby wall and practise looking at it
6. Do all the above, all the time !! (except closing them, maybe)

Anyways, I tried the method, it has improved my eyesight, and lessened general eyestrain. Plus I think it has helped me relax generally.

Not hard, and well worth it if you get the same results !!

It also works if you practice remembering each line of the eyechart!!!

I've been using the Master Bates method. No wonder my eyes are getting worse!!
