Pulmonary Embolism

Last week I was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism (PE) and as a result my medical is currently suspended. My understanding is that if the blood clots clear and after a 6 months period of anticoagulation treatment it may be possible to get the medical certificate back but with a multi pilot limitation. My question is would the multi pilot limitation likely to be permanent limitation. While flying the Boeing pays the mortgage I was hoping post retiring ( Circa 12 years to go ) to spend a couple of years doing PPL instructing. I think we all know that while airline flying pays the bills the real fun of flying is in the club flying school environment and it would be really nice to get back into to that again. Is there any pilot out there that has had a PE and managed to loose the multi crew restriction.
