Initial Class One After LASIK

Hi guys,

I'm currently debating having LASIK done around next summer and was wondering how long it would take to have an un-restricted initial class one medical after the surgery. I've heard people passing their medicals after 3 months but would these be restricted??

Thanks a lot!

Talk to your regional aviation medical officer. I heard one advise strongly against LASIK, but that was 30 years ago. More recent information on: LASIK Complications, Risks: 10 Reasons NOT to Have LASIK
