Cool Re-New Class one

Has anyone had a class 1 renewal with specs? If you have then do they do a full eye test at the AME or do you just take in a local Opticians report with you? This is for a Class one Renewal and not the first one at LGW. Good reason for this Q.....You will all find out soon.

Hi joe. When I went for my renewal for class 1 the doctor just gave me a quick eye check (ie can you read the bottom line and can you read N5) very simple.I didn't have to take in an optitions report. Still quite expensive though.
Sorry I meant to mention that I went to kilmarnock for my renewal cos it was the nearest one to me qualified to class 1 level.
