UK License with foriegn Medical

Dear all,

My Class 1 Medical is and always has been conducted in Malta, however I hold a UK License. I spend a lot of my time in Malta and therefore I'm happy to continue this arrangement. Before I did my initial medical in Malta I contacted the CAA to ensure that this was acceptable I was told yes as the medical standards are the same and there is an 'agreement' between the UK and Malta to back this up.

I have a job interview coming up shortly and I just want to make sure that there is nothing wrong with my situation and that this situation is still acceptable? I am reluctant to contact the CAA since I have had little or no help from them on other EASA/CAA related issues recently!

Any help/advice would be appreciated!

For what it's worth, I have done exactly that in the recent past, Maltese medical attached to a UK licence, it didn't cause me any problems. In fact from what I gathered the Maltese AMEs are very much involved in the UK 'scene.'
