Class 1 - Class 2?
Hi there.
I currently have a class 1 medical, which expires at the end of April. At the time of renewal last year my Doctor said something about it reverting to a class 2 for a further 4 years. Does any one know what he meant, and is there anything I need to do for this to take effect? I don't see anything on the certificate to indicate any of this.
Cheers

From what I can recall class one automatically reverts to a class two. To be sure of how long give your Dr a ring - they can send you a sticker which can be applied to the certificate and basically explains that though invalid as a class one it is valid as a class two for (X) years.
Anyone else got any further info on this? My Class 1 also expired in Apr but since I live in the US it's rather difficult to get it revalidated. Does the lapsing to Class 2 apply to JAR Class 1?
