Cardiology in the USA
I have an ectopic heartbeat and am in the process of an airline interview and they've ask for a few tests. Holter, stress test and echo cardiogram.
I'm on holidays in the USA and the quotes I'm getting are insane ie $4k each. Does anyone know where I can get them done cheaper or will I have to fly back to Australia?

If you can locate a nearby FAA AME, he might have a cardiology colleague who would cut you a better rate, since you'd be paying cash.
Try to make the contacts in person, rather than through the staff.
Are you anywhere near Canada?

Unfortunately, those three exams are kind of unavoidably expensive. The Holter not so much, but the others require skilled personnel and expensive machinery, as well as a radiologist to view the results. That tends to make things add up quickly.
If you could shop around and try to find a hospital based clinic, rather than a private practice, that should save you some cash. Hospital based practices must be not-for-profit to accept government funds.
What sort of ectopic heartbeat do you have?
