Class 1 JAA with a restriction
Hi guys,
I'd like to know your opinion.
I am 26, finishing my training, holding a class 1 jaa with a restriction (only to have two check per year for the class 1 but i should switch to one check per year if everything will go well, no oml), is it a bad thing in order to be employed by an airlines (ryanair and so on), or they don't look at this, so far you hold a class 1 jaa ?
Thanks !

Hi E_F,
Out of curiosity, why exactly do you have to have two check per year if you don't mind me asking?
Also, I believe a class 1 medical is a class 1 medical.
As long as you are fit, with or without restrictions, you should be okay.
I could be wrong.
I hope things work out for you.

Hi,
thanks for your reply.
i just got an operation in my intestine and have to be checked twice per year but i'll be switched to once a year if everything will be well.
i also believe a class one is a class one, with or without any restrictions, otherwise, you have to fire more than 50% of pilots...
if somebody else could help, i'll appreciate it.
