JAA class 2 audiogram problem?

Here's the deal:

I'm embarking on a PPL package that includes a night qualification. It has come to my attention that for night flying I will need a audiogram included in my medical. Am I correct in saying that I need an audiogram for a JAA class 2 medical for PPL flying with a night qualification?

I have a Class 2 medical and as far as I know that is all you need. It was never suggested that anything extra would be necessary for me to do a Night Rating (which, in the end, I decided not to do.)

I believe you need the class 1 audiogram for the IR (I don't think you need an audiogram for the IMC). You shouldn't need an audiogram for the night raiting.

No Audiogram for Night Qualification (or IMC rating)

For holding an IR you need an audiogram (or functional hearing test if you fail the audiogram)

There is only one sort of audiogram which is the same for Class 2 IR and Class 1 medical.
