Can i still get Class 1 medical?

Can i still get Class 1 medical?

dear all ,

I have a mild slip disc at L4/L5 , will it affect me to attain a class1 medical?

can anyone tell me in depth detail to attain class 1 medical regard this ?

Will very much depend on the extent of your problem and which regulatory authority you are dealing with.

As long as you get it taken care of (opertion/conservative treatment) and it won't limit your ability to perform cockpit duties you have good chances to pass class 1 medical.

Bear in mind that many company medicals tend to be more strict about backproblems etc.
