AME Manchester

I've recently moved to the Manchester area and my Class 1 expires in Feb, anyone have any ideas on a good AME in the vicinity?

Define "good."

Used to get a bit upset when the short dumpy guy at EGCC used to say that I needed to lose 2 stone, but he always seemed fair.

Then again there's "AME PPL" who used to post on here, he seemed human.

And then there's the scouser who talks on the Wirral-he also seems quite normal.

To be honest, they're probably all quite normal, they have to be to put up with you lot

It's probably best for their sake not to band individual names around on here, you'll probably get a few PM's.

Hi, same question again really, I'm looking to do my renewal in Manchester and would appreciate any PM's with regards to a good AME in the Manchester area?

Calling a Manc a Lanc is ok, but never call a Lanc a Manc, it'll cause a fight.

Was your 33 year duration certificate Class 1 or class 2?

Must go myself - worth the trip just avoid those tad annoying medicals every year.

He's got a picture of a smoky old Air Canada DC-8 on his wall, so he can't be an altogether bad chap.
