RFA therapy and the class 1&2 medicals

Hello,

Can anyone tell me if the there would be a reason why a class 2 or 1 medical would be declined because of previous heart condition that has been *cured* by radio frequency ablation treatment?

I had a EP study back in 2002 which followed with RFA in 2004, since then another EP study to determine status of ectopic beats and also check that previous RFA was successful. All passed as fine.

Since then, I have had no problems. I am currently learning to fly microlights NPPL(M) but I would like to train for CPL.

I would like to know if anyone could tell me is it worth going for a class 1 and CPL or stopping the investment now and going for PPL or even NPPL only.

Thanks for any feedback on this.
