Class 1

Hi,

Im new here and I'm sure that you've all heard this before but what exactly happens at the class one inital medical test, I've read all the CAA print outs about the actual requirements and know what they are analysing but it doesn't give the same sort of information as someone who has actually been there and done it.

It mentions all the specific areas such as eye sight, lung test etc then says Physical check, is this an external check of your body? or......

Just looking for a bit of first hand knowledge/experience that can expand on the documents I've got.

Thanks.

The doc has a prod and a poke around and gives your body a once over, checks your BP, listens to your ticker, looks in your ears nose and throat, gets you to cough, checks reflexes with the rubber-covered hammer, and a probably few other things - maybe discusses anything unusual with you. Nothing to worry about and nothing hurts or causes discomfort.
