Ears and sinuses

Hello,

Here is the story:

I am a VFR flight instructor, about 6 month ago I had a medium barotrauma taking an airliner home with a cold, no ear drum rupture, I had my ears plugged for about 6 days and got my audition back to normal in about 2 weeks.

Since then I have the following symptoms:

- Frequent blocked nose

- White sticky mucqus secretion running down the throat

- Sensation of irritation of the sinuses cavities

- Mild continous fatigue (including loss of motivation, etc..)

I can clear my ears and I can ear fine but still nothing feels normal up there, if I put an headset over my head for example, even on the ground I have the feeling of irritation on the forehead and ears, a little bit like if I had another headset inside my head (sensation of 'sunburns" inside the sinuse cavities). Damp weather also tends to worsen the symptoms.

Went to see 3 GPs, 3 ENT specialist, had a sinuses scan and a head RMI, both normal, had two full blood test, normal too, tympanography and Audiogram are fine. I tried sinuses rinses, homeotherapy, and had about 15 sessions of osteotherapy and acupuncture and so far nothing really made a difference (except maybe for the osteotherapy/acupuncture that does help the general condition a little bit).

I also did an allergy test which show I was allergic to pollens and acarians though I never experienced any allergic symptoms before in my life and taking anti istamic presently doesn't really make a change.

I haven't flown much recently, I can technicly fly (and the 3 ENTs I have seen amongst which one was an aviation specialist said I was fit to fly) but still all those symptoms and sensations don't make the flying enjoyable at all.

I start to run short of clues and ideas to sort out the problem, has anyone ever exprerienced something similar ? Any experience, idea, solution will be very welcome.

Thank you
