Post Health and Safety Act

Does anyone know if the aircraft enviroment is covered under the UK Health and Safety at Work Act?
I have been told by my employer that it does not. However, as a crew member, I would argue that the cabin is my "place of work", and that, at least within the shores of the UK, that the HASAW Act applies to me as much as it would to a factory worker, and that Health and Safety Act risk assessments should apply alongside the CAA and local SOP flight safety regulations.
