Post ATCO - Eyes

I`m wondering if anyone knows the restrictions with regards to having kerataconus and becoming an ATCO. I do know that getting a Class 1 Medical is out as I have failed one already because of it. I would however like to pursue a career as an ATCO and wouldn`t like to think that this damn eye would deter me from this aswell.

Any info would be very much appreciated.

Thank You.

I am an ATCO who suffered this in his left eye in my mid twenties (Post initial) and it is just starting to affect my 'good' eye.

No problem so far re-newing although longer term who knows.

There are new designs of rigid lenses that tailor your eye shape called something rose, I will post more here shortly

Cool

Maybe you could get a little help from the National Keratokonis Foundation at http://www.nkcf.org/ . I sent my brother to their site recently.
