Arrow Prostate Cancer and the Class 1 medical

As a budding CPL with a Class 1 cert I have recently been diagnosed with 'PC'. It's early stage and so far few symptoms. Has anyone had experience of this and what the CAA view is on medical renewal? I'm about to commit to big expense on CPL training.
