Wink BA/CAA medical

Ok, I'm going to be optimistic and say I will get into the BA TEP (currently at aptitude testing stage).

If I get through, I understand I will only have to go through the BA medical (as I currently hold a JAA Class 1 medical issued in July 2000)

However, will the BA medical also count as my CAA renewal??

Just the thought of another visit to Aviation House makes me cringe.

Any help greatly appreciated.
