Question Quick question...

Hi guys...

Just a quick question - If you have a class 1 medical, and then don't bother to renew it after it's year's validity runs out, can you still use it as a class 2 (which is valid for 5 years) ?

Or is it that when you get a class1 certificate, you are also issued with a class 2 simultaneously?

Hope this makes sense!

Cheers
Jetset

Unhappy

My understanding is that you have to ask specifically for a class 2 as well. The class 1 no longer has any validity after the expiry date.

Thanks Dr. J
I'd better get on the phone to them then! My class 1 is due to expire in a couple of months and I haven't even received it yet!
