Question Central Serous Retinopothy

I've just been diagnosed as having a Central Serous Retinopothy. This has been described to me as a condition where some fluid gets under the retina and lifts it thus destroying a tiny portion of it. The specialist has told me that this can happen to anyone, noboby knows why it happens or what causes it and there is nothing that can be done about it.

The CAA have suspended my JAA class one medical certificate until they get a report from the specialist that diagnosed the problem. Thankfully, I'm still a Wannabe and so my lively-hood is not at risk.

I'd really like to hear from anyone that knows anything more about this condition or what the chances are that I'll get my class one medical certificate back.
