Question Height

I was just wondering about the Class 1 Medical.

I hope to become an Airline Pilot, but at the moment I am 16 and a height of 6'1".

Does the CAA have a MAXIMUM height limit that you must meet to gain a Class 1 medical?

Thank for your help,

APW

I believe most airlines draw the mark at 6'2". So a class 1, even if you don't have to meet a height restriction to gain it, is unlikely to mean a great deal.
Start smoking - that stumps growth.

I woudn't worry too much. I've never heard of anyone being rejected for being too tall.

Believe me, on a 757 it's a necessity!
