Question OGTT Advice

I have been requested by my employer to undergo a Oral Glucose Tolerance Test as a part of company health screening policy. I am getting a little worried about it.

I am about 15 lbs overweight and taking 50mg of Atenolol (Beta Blocker?) daily for hypertension. I am not routingly taking any other medication except Vitamin Supplements and Fish oils.. .My Fasting blood sugar level has been normal though it has been near the high end.

Is there anything specific I can do within the next week to improve my results from the above OGTT, such as foods to avoid or any supplements to increase ?

How will my hypertension medication will impact the results ?

Thank you.
