Question Flying Microlights - what kind of medical is required?

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone knows what kind of medical is required if your thinking of taking up microlighting, i.e class 2 or normal Doctor check-up?

Thanks,
S105

From Brian Cosgrove's excellent book "The Microlight Pilot's Handbook" :

No medical is required. In this case the certificate is in the forum of a 'Declaration of Fitness' (FCL 150/AB) countersigned by your own doctor or a CAA Authorised Medical Examiner (AME).

Thanks for that mate,

Do you know of any good web-sites where I can find info on microlighting, the different types of microlights you can buy, especially the three-axis enclosed aircraft?

Thanks,
Best wishes,
