Post Air circulation or lack of it

Last night we were kept in a 757, with a non functioning APU, resulting in no air con for 1 hour on the ground at Heathrow. The cabin temp was rather warm to say te least; to the point that the Capt asked the ground crew to blow in cold air from the air start truck.

From previous information I am worried about the enhanced risk of infection and wondered what the health and safety guidelines are on this kind of situation.
