Upper right Abdomen
Hi,
Every now and then I get a very slight "pain" - not painful at all really - like a pin prick/ ache sensation around my ribcage. I feel absolutely fine - comes and goes - never constant and never increases - no other symptoms. Did notice it yesterday after a bowl of pasta. Should I be overly concerned bearing in mind the region it is in? Have had it off and on for several years.
Cheers

G'day Rae,
I had similar symptoms to you years ago and it turned out to be a gallstone, eventually detected by an abdominal ultrasound.
Keyhole surgery and I've been right ever since.
Are you sure it's not homesickness?
Regards,
BH.

Could be something or nothing, but you certainly need to see the quack, who at the very least can listen to the story of your symptoms carefully and investigate (usually by blood tests and ultrasound) if need be.
