Question Food allergies

I will be travelling from LAX to MELon UA 839 with my 9 year old daughter who has life threatening allergies to eggs, peanuts and tree nuts. I am concerned about how much of my own food I can reasonably carry that will last a growing 9 year old for 24 hrs ( our journey will begin in PIT). I will be making special meal requests for her, but I am a little concerned about letting her eat any food from the flight because she does seem to be sensitive to cross contamination. Example we do not feed her anything "manufactured in a facility that processes.....". Any advice about food requests or other details relating to allergies that I should discuss wuth UA when calling the airlines to inform them ?
Thanks
