Automated External Defibrillator or AED

Can anyone recommend a reputable make /model / cost of an AED please?

What do you want an AED for, if it is for aircraft use, you need one that is aircraft compatible and the training to use it whilst in flight.

Contact your local resus trainer (for your PCT), he'll have all the gen, and may also be able to gain some funding. (Have a look at the NSF for Heart Disease).

It looks like most AED's work the same though- the big difference seems to be between total automation and some sort of user input.

Looking at my last post, with hindsight, it's good to check out the differences between those that can be used in the health centre, those that can be used in the back of an ambulance, those that can be used in the back of a helicopter, and those that can be used on a surfer on a wet beach.

I believe that there are differences.
