Valid class 1 despite HRT? (Hormone Replacement therapy)

Hello,

I wonder if it is possible to maintain a medical class 1 if under regular administration of male sex hormone due to low endogenous production.

This is not a concern on my own but it is something that has struck my mind a few times.

Cheers

Can't really see any problem with that.

Androgens don't affect your vision, and don't make you drowsy.

There is certainly no problem with ladies on oestrogen HRT, so could the
authorities lay themselves open to this type of discrimination ? ? I very much doubt it !

Me neither, incase a problem occur, the reason for this would be maybe the increased aggressiveness(even though this hasn't really been confirmed scientifically) or the bloodpressure alterations that might come with it. The reproduction issue and such problems shouldn't make a hinder for flying.

Does anyone know what the authorities think of this?
