Sinusitis

I have really bad sinusitis and am currently two days into a 7 day course of penicillin.
I have a slightly blocked right nose and pain over the right eye,I have had this before but this is the worst it has been.
I am a PPL and fly low level usually max 2000 feet on local 1 -1.5 hour flights.
May sound a very stupid question, but is it silly to fly and if so how long before I can.

Yes, it is.

Totally irrespective of actual diagnosis, or specific treatment, the symptoms described would be extremely distracting. Bad enough when everything is working fine, in clear VMC. But just try to think how you'd cope when things went wrong.
