JAA Class 1 Initial-Instructions
Hello all!
I have recently booked my initial class 1 medical for the 25th of June. I recieved the standard letter from the CAA with instructions regarding the medical. However, I am a bit confused. Same old story, I had mild asthma as a child, dont suffer now and havent for years. Plus, I stay fit. It states in the letter that:
"If you have any medical condition or medical history which may be relevant please ensure you send full details of diagnosis, investigations, treatment and prognosis of the condition." Is it important to send this information or just turn up on the day and answer questions and do the tests? I know it probably sounds like a stupid question, but im not in the know, so help would be great. Thank you.

The best advice is to phone them and ask. They're used to this and will be able to tell you exactly what you need to do.
The asthma shouldn't be a problem as you don't suffer from it anymore, but they will probably want to confirm this with your GP. Better to get this sorted out now, rather than pitching up on the day and dropping it on them.

You would also be well regarded for being so thoughtful and well-prepared !
Good luck with the medical !

Fantastic! Thank you so much chaps. I will speak to my GP about a report right away. I was just a bit unsure. I just want to make sure I get everything prepared.
Time to get the razor out and shave down below! I heard you get bonus points for this!?!?!?!
