Question Stents And A Job Change

I have recently resumed flying following angioplasty and fitting of stents. Fortunately my present employers are happy for me to continue to fly for them. Attitudes seem to be changing fast in this area and I would very much like to hear if anyone has successfully changed companies or started with a major airline after such treatment.

In many ways those of us who have had this treatment are a safer bet than those who don't yet know that their arteries are blocked but is there any evidence that airlines acknowledge this? I am particularly interested in the position in the UK and India.
