tinnitus and class 1

Hi guys,

studying for my atpl's 10 or so days ago and it started.
The ringing tone in my right ear, I am assuming its tinnitus but dont know.
It is masked when im busy at work or listening to music but its very annoying as im sure some of you will know when its quiet.

Im am taking tetracycline and at the moment and have read in some articles that it may be a cause. so I have ceased taking them.
Im due for my class 1 renewal soon(before the summer/cpl course) and wondered how people have got on with this infection and passing the class 1.
Is it only every 5 years the audiogram is due if you are under 40?
what hearing test is conducted on the 1 yearly revaladation?

Given the mounting evidence, I would ask your GP to change your antibiotic.
