French issued JAA Class II medical UK validity

I have a UK issued JAA PPL (A & H) which are due for renewal soon, I have received the renewal papers from the CAA in which they ask for a copy of my medical certificate.

I have a class II medical issued in France, it is my assumption that this is also valid for the UK.

Any thoughts on this subject ?

I think you had better check this out. There was discussion that the French Class 2 is not considered valid for flight in the UK
