Hi there
I did the medical a couple of weeks ago. I booked the afternoon appointment (12.45) so i could fly there and back in the same day. I was coming from Manchester.
I flew down at 10.00, was there at 11.00, went to the CAA building in a taxi (only 5min taxi ride), booked in in reception and went for some dinner in the canteen then went and had my medical. It lasted 3hrs (just a lot of sitting around) so was back at airport at 16.30.
I could have got the 1730 plane home but booked the 2000 plane home as i thought medical would take longer.

Hope that helps

HI,
I flew in from Saudi for the day to do my class 1. it was all over in the morning so i caught the flight back again that evening. I shoulda stayed a few days in hindsight rather than going back to the land of sand and work.......Oh well.
