Avonex is an "Interferon" drug. Unfortunately it MAY have significant side effects, and you will not be allowed a Class 1 medical, certainly in the short term. Things do change though and the "medical goalposts" keep shifting. There is a lady F15 captain flying in the US Air Force with MS.
