question about FAA medical examinations

I was looking at the FAR yesterday to see whats involved in getting a US Class 3 medical certificate. (http://ecfr.gpoaccess.gov/cgi/t/text...67_main_02.tpl)

But reading the regs, from what I can see they are the same for all classes - the only difference being the frequency of certification.

Admittedly it was late when I was reading this, so have I missed something obvious?

Different visual standards need to be achieved; test for near and far vision AND intermediate vision; specific test for stereoscopic vision; mandatory ECG for class 1; thats about it of the top of my head.
