Contact Lens solution for hand luggage

My girlfriend has booked a flight with an infamous loco and elected to take hand baggage only to avoid paying for checked-in baggage. However she uses contact lenses and so far the smallest soft lens solution we can find is 120ml which clearly poses such an enormous threat that it will be confiscated and destroyed at security.

So does anyone know where she can buy contact lens solution in a bottle of 100ml or less, preferably Opti-free solution.

Thanks in advance, and by the way, she would rather not decant solution from one bottle to another to solve this to avoid possible contamination.

Buy at destination, or go back to the opticians and ask if they've got any starter kit giveaways.

You can get a free sample of Opti-Free if you go to http://replenishlenscomfort.com and register, but the sample probably won't get to your girlfriend in time.

The Opti-Free.com site (http://www.opti-free.com/Contact-Lens-Treatment.asp) quotes the TSA guidelines (http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/specialneeds/editorial_1059.shtm) on contact solution, which says it is an "over-the-counter" medication and as long as you can fit the bottle in a quart-size ziplock with the other items, you can take it in a carry-on.

Hope this helps...
