RAF Medicals

Just been for my RAF aircrew medical, and was declared fit. My question is why do they ask for your Doctors and Dentist details - do they need a reference ?

They will probably ask for a summary of your case notes. I know you filled the big form in but some people 'forget' to mention things that might be interesting to military docs!

Once you join the light blue master race, the RAF becomes your GP and so they will get all your NHS records as well.

They'd look pretty silly if it all went t*ts up and they'd not realised it because they'd not written to your GP. (who's records are notoriously poor) by the way.)

Dental records may be more pertinent to identification if the worse happens.
