"Pulsing" eyelid!

It's driving me bonkers!

I've had it for about three weeks now. I can only describe it as a random pulsing or tiny twitching in my eyelid of my right eye.

It's not effecting my vision in any way, but I'm wondering when, or if, it will stop.

Anyone got any ideas on what it is?

I've had it a couple of times many years agao. It went away after making the male ground staff wary of me, and getting lucky with a girl in the office.

Such "pulsations" are called fasciculations, defined as muscular twitching involving the simultaneous contraction of contiguous groups of muscle fibers.
When islolated to a small area, it is usually of no medical consequence.

I have experienced this phenomenon in the past, usually down to tiredness.

I have experienced this too. Have been told it is from drinking to much coffee. I didn't know you could drink to much coffee.

I'm feeling it!

No one (at least as far as I know!) has noticed it!

I've had this too, from time to time. Glad to hear it's a proper condition. I just thought it was another weird personal attribute.

I'll maybe try some vitamins then.

It doesn't sound like anything too significant, sometimes the cause can seem a little unrelated, for example , referred sensation from a bad tooth.

Ok, here's how it works....no-one quite know's what the problem is, but we're pretty sure it aint serious, and is probably self limiting.

So we study your face closely, and make the decision......

....vitamin deficiency, bad tooth or too much coffee. Which well they believe?

Either way, I bet we cure ya'.

And you go away thinking your cured, and we feel good.

Don't tell anyone
