Fatigue

How common is chronic fatigue in the professional pilot workforce? And how is it best treated? (It seems to be cropping up with great regularity in my bit of the charter world, especially during summer.)

Probably difficult to get a difinitive answer, as chronic fatigue syndrome is usually difficult to measure objectively, unfortunately.

In haste. I would say hard workouts in any place you can find...however much you don't feel like doing it.

Even more importantly, plenty of REM sleep. Without it, you will feel totally washed out. A string of ‘earlies' is for me, the worst possible scenario.
