Busofen --Thai Pain Pill question?
While being based in Bangkok Thailand, I was subscribed a “Pain Pill” for a physical injury called “BUSOFEN”. It worked all right, I just used it for 3 days. When I was trying to find out what is was I was only told a “Big Panadol”, which is a soluble tablet that contain the active ingredient paracetamol common back home.
When doing a web search, the info is in Thai.
I am not to worried, but I would like to know if it is like a Panadeine Fort or what ever. Any tips of what this pill is?
It was bright pink in colour.

Google web search gives Busofen 400. Guess is that means 400mg, which is an ibuprofen standard dose, and with the 'ofen' at the end that adds further evidence. Also commonly given for 'physical injury'. Only a guess of course, could be proprietary name for ibuprofen.
