artificial knee

I am suffering from arthrosis in my knee and the degree of severity is such as to have the knee replaced with an artificial one in the long run.
Does anyone have any knowledge about class 1 medical restrictions with an artificial knee?
thks

You would be out of action for at least 3 months post-op. As long as recovery is going well and you have at least 0-90 degrees range of motion you should then be ready to jump back into the hot seat. No long term restrictions as far as I know if the operation is successful (which it most often is)
