Class 2 Medical

Just a quick question really. My class 2 JAR medical is due for renewal this year. At what point in time can you go for the examination and have the new certificate dated from when the old one runs out?

A bit like if you take your car for an MOT test, you can have the new one run from the expiry date of the old one if your car passes within 2 weeks of the old one expiring.

Cheers

Hello, it is 45 days before expiry date for the class 1, I guess it is the same for the class 2... just ask the AME when you make the appointment.
