Sciatica and Initial JAR Class 1

Hi,
I'm about to book my initial exam but I'm a bit concerned about the pain I've been getting in my leg for the last 6 months or so. I've been to an osteopath for 4 sessions of treatment so far and intend to continue for a little while at least.
I was just wondering if this is going to present problems for me in the initial exam as I don't want to be wasting my time/money. I can function fairly normally, but get quite sharp pain if I try to raise my leg while lying flat on a bed.
Cheers,
M
